The Catit PIXI Fountain's three-stage filters clean, soften and refresh the water so cats have healthier water available to them.

The content of Catit filters reduces magnesium and calcium, which can lead to urinary tract disease, a common health problem for cats. It should be noted that this product is not designed to cure any illness or disease in cats.

In addition to a UV-C sterilizer, the Catit® PIXI™ Smart Fountain includes a filter that cleans your cat's drinking water in three stages. The fountain's nose will start flashing blue when it's time to replace the filter.

Get cleaner, better tasting drinking water.
These filters are designed specifically for use with Catit PIXI Fountain models. They cannot be used in other Catit fountains or imitations.

The content of the Catit filters is of high quality.

The cotton mesh filters out all debris that floats through the water, so that the water pump does not get clogged and the cats do not swallow it. For example, hairs, dust, crumbs, feed residues, etc.

The activated carbon, which is inside a special bag so that it does not come out, eliminates water odors, impurities and bacteria. It is important to note that this material does not stain the water and is not toxic for cats.

Ion exchange resin, also in a special sachet to prevent leakage, softens tap water by removing heavy minerals such as magnesium and calcium.

The quality of the water coming out of the tap is out of our control, but we can purify the cat's drinking water to make it healthier and better tasting. Located in the heart of the fountain, the filter does its job by constantly cleaning the water that enters the Catit PIXI Fountain tank.
